One of the Toads has lost the keys to all the minigames! Once you talk to the Toad in the Rec. Room, the rabbits will appear all over the castle both inside and the castle grounds! These rabbits hold the minigame keys. Similar to MIPS, who appeared in the basement twice (when you have 15 and 50 power stars, respectively) in the original game, giving 2 power stars, they'll run around when you get near them, making them hard to grab (and in Yoshi's case, stuff in his mouth, which is a bit easier). Catching them will earn you a key and the option to save, instead of stars. Each character has seven color-coded rabbits to catch, for a whole total of 28 and their color and locations vary from character to character. Wario catches orange, Luigi catches green, Mario catches purple, and Yoshi catches yellow. It will require all 150 stars to catch every one since you'll need the castle ground's cannon unlocked to catch Luigi's last one. Yoshi has eight, because one is for opening keys to unlock the castle's front door, at the beginning of the game. These rabbits also appear in Super Mario 3D Land. The following table below shows the locations of all the rabbits, the minigames unlocked, and the amount of power stars required for the rabbits to appear and minigames to unlock.

Glowing Rabbits[edit]
After collecting 8 Power Stars, there will be eight glowing rabbits that will randomly appear in place of the ordinary ones that have already been caught. These rabbits have white sparkles on their body and red eyes. You can collect all of them with any character in any part of the castle, however, there is a much faster way. Switch to Yoshi and step out of the castle through the front door since six of his rabbits are out there. The seventh one can be found in the basement next to the Lethal Lava Land and Shifting Sand Land paintings. Just repeatedly enter and exit the castle to quickly summon eight glowing rabbits. The final rabbit states 'It's the fastest and oldest of the family' while each rabbit then before states that they are 'the second-fastest of my eight rabbits'. After catching all eight, you will get the key to unlock the last white door in the character selection room, next to Wario's door, which contains a secret power star.
Trivia[edit]
- Wario is the only character that you can catch all the rabbits with without draining the moat.

Super Mario 64 Ds Secret Stars
The Princess's Secret Slide is one of the secret levels in Super Mario 64 and Super Mario 64 DS, as well as being one of the three slides in the games. The entrance to the course is in a room of the Mushroom Castle, behind the door marked with a '1' on the mezzanine. Inside the room are three stained glass windows with images of Princess Peach on them. Jumping into the one on the right will lead to the slide. In the DS version of the game, the room is expanded to include the locked doors with theothercharacters behind them, and the number of stained glass windows is reduced from three to two, but the stained glass window on the right will still lead to the slide. The level is also used as one of the four courses in VS Mode.
Layout[edit]Map of The Princess's Secret Slide in Super Mario 64 DS The bottom end of the slide The player starts in a room with a Blue Coin Block to the right. Once the player enters the slide ahead, a timer will begin. The slide will first take the player down a large tunnel, which leads to a steep downward slope. After a large 270° bend are a series of drops with a 1-Up Mushroom in this area followed by several bends, ultimately leading to the end room of the slide. If the player falls off the slide, they will be brought back to the lobby of the castle, with no lives lost. In the Vs. Mode course, the first Power Star can be found at the start; the second is in the middle of the slide, and the last three Power Stars are in the ending room. This is the only secret course that contains Blue Coins and the only course that has no Red Coins in the original game. Missions[edit]The Princess's Secret Slide in Super Mario 64 DS This secret stage has two Power Stars to collect, and it is the only stage in the original game to contain two of the castle's Secret Stars. Hspice software free windows 8. First Star[edit]The player must ride the slide all the way to the bottom and hit the ! Block to collect the Power Star. Second Star[edit]This second Star will only appear if the player reaches the bottom of the slide in under 21 seconds. This Star will appear in front of the ! Block that contained the first Star. Music[edit]
The music that plays in the course is a variation of Bob-omb Battlefield's theme (also the main theme of the game), as well as Cool, Cool Mountain's music, involving a Western style, with an instrumentation of a fiddle, a bass, drums, a piano, a banjo, and whistling. This music can also be heard during the races with Koopa the Quick, and in most other secret courses, in secret areas that involve a slide, and in other regular courses such as Tick Tock Clock and Rainbow Ride. This music has since been arranged in multiple future titles in the Mario franchise, including the Super Smash Bros. series; Super Mario Galaxy 2 in the Tall Trunk Galaxy mission 'Tall Trunk's Big Slide' and in the Rolling Coaster Galaxy; Paper Mario: Sticker Star during the mine cart sections in Bowser's Snow Fort; Super Mario 3D World while riding Plessie, which was reused in Captain Toad: Treasure Tracker during part of the Coins Galore minigames; Mario & Sonic at the Sochi 2014 Olympic Winter Games and Mario & Sonic at the Rio 2016 Olympic Games as one of the tracks that can be played in events, which is Toad's theme in the latter game; and in Super Smash Bros. Melee and Super Smash Bros. Brawl as the main track for the Rainbow Cruise stage, combined with the Underwater Theme from Super Mario Bros. The original song is also featured in Super Smash Bros. for Wii U, Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, and Super Mario Maker 2. Gallery[edit]
